The Legion Memorial Hall of the William H. Jameson, Jr. Post 216 was recognized as a Historical Landmark on the Corona Register of Historical Resources on 1-6-2021.

The presentation was delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions on in-person meetings.

Rich Winn of American Legion Post 216 performed the research and prepared the analysis of the Legion Hall that led to the building's landmark designation approval by the Planning Commission and the City Council.

​

Presenting the certificate of the Landmark designation were Corona Mayor Jacque Casillas, Councilman / former Mayor Jim Steiner, and Councilman Wes Speake. Accepting the certificate for Post 216 were Post Commander George Brightenburg and Post Historian Rich Winn.
